AeroPress Recipe
Brew a delicious cup of coffee with the AeroPress using this simple recipe:
-
Coffee-to-Water Ratio: Use a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio. For one serving, use 15 grams of coffee (about 1 tablespoon) and 225ml of water.
-
Heat Water: Boil water and allow it to cool to about 90-96°C (195-205°F).
-
Prepare Coffee: Grind 15g of coffee to a medium-fine consistency, similar to table salt.
-
Set Up: Insert a paper filter into the AeroPress and rinse it with hot water to remove any residual paper taste. Place the AeroPress over your mug.
-
Add Coffee: Add the ground coffee to the AeroPress chamber.
-
Bloom: Start a timer and pour 30ml of hot water over the grounds, evenly saturating them. Let it bloom for 30 seconds.
-
Brew: After blooming, slowly pour in the remaining water (195ml) until it reaches the top. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.
-
Press: Place the plunger on top and gently press down for about 20-30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound.
-
Serve: Remove the AeroPress, stir the coffee if desired, and enjoy your freshly brewed cup!
Experience rich flavour and smoothness with each sip from your AeroPress brew!
